Red Tractor Chair to Quit

Posted on: 02/11/20

Following last week’s surprise revelation that Baroness Lucy Neville-Rolfe effectively voted for lower food standards, it has been announced she is standing down from her position as Chairman on November 12th after a 3-year term of office.

The best Red Tractor and the Baroness could come up with, which has resulted in raised eyebrows, is that she had decided not to seek a second term of office.

It can be dressed up and spun as much as they want but the bottom line is her position is untenable and a major blow to Red Tractor’s credibility. See 23rd October story.
