2.5ppl (revised) milk price increase for suppliers to Freshways from 1st July

Freshways have improved on their previous commitment to increase producers milk price from July 1st by 1.5ppl to 2.5ppl.
Freshways cut producers milk price by 1ppl from March 1st reducing its liquid standard price to only 26ppl.
The 2.5ppl will increase Freshways www.milkprices.com liquid standard litre price to 28.5ppl but not until 1st July which won’t hit farmers bank accounts until August. There is no doubt that whilst the increase will be welcome the four months at 26ppl will have been a painful experience.
