Joseph Heler cheese farmers feel short changed

Following our posting of a 1ppl 1^st December price increase plus a further 1ppl 1^st January price increase from Helers cheese three farmers have been in contact to express to Ian how disappointed they are.  Today one commented that the 1^st January Heler standard manufacturing litre price comes in at under 32ppl and the firm should now follow Muller and revisit its January price increase.

Neither Ian or www.milkprices.com have the information to accurately verify the under 32ppl standard litre price but for sure if it is correct it has to be one of the lowest milk for cheese prices in GB at a time when MCVE stands at 39.22ppl for November and AMPE is at 42.88ppl.
