GDT Auction results continues to head North

Today’s GDT Auction recorded another highest average at US $4290 tonne up on the result three weeks ago.

Once again, all 8 products on offer recorded increases in their average price compared to those recorded only three weeks ago.

The tonnage sold continues to increase and still the trade grows stronger.

Total sold 31,092 an increase of 2.4%  or $695 a tonne  on the 30,397 sold two weeks ago.

 

Notable movements since 16^th November Auction results

                Butter       + 4.6% to average US $5791 tonne

                SMP          + 1.3% to average US $ 3721 tonne

                Cheddar   + 1.0% to average US $ 5220 tonne

               WMP        + 0.6% to average US $4008 tonne
