40ppl milk price for Muller Direct Suppliers – from 1st May

Yes a 3.5ppl price increase brings Muller into a pack of liquid processors who are paying a liquid standard litre price of 40p or more from May 1st.
Like most if not all other processors Muller will probably now have to recover the extra payment plus its own additional costs from its customers or as an alternative face having to
Decline business and walk away.
Those processors who have already committed to a 40ppl plus MAY 1ST Figure are, according to our records, Wells Dairy (40.2ppl), Paynes Dairies 40ppl, Freshways 40ppl, with Medina almost there at 39.8ppl and Arla (TBC)
This will leave any processors below 40p on May 1st left wanting and increasing their risk of loosing producers. All eyes are now on others including Tesco and The Co-op group in particular.
Note the 40ppl includes the Muller Advantage Premium of 1ppl which the majority achieve.
