According to the numerous emails Ian has received Sainsburys farmers are almost a mirror image of Tesco one’s including how they fail to market the higher standards milk. Whilst Ian believes Tesco will probably react to farmer pressure Sainsburys form would suggest they might take a tougher line and risk supplies. For sure Sainsburys farmers are every bit as disgruntled and despondent as Tesco farmers are and on a lower price of only 41.7ppl from 14^th July!! Watch this space.
