Tesco still taking milk from a former aligned producer

A Tesco producer who fell into the bottom 5% of producers and was ousted from a Tesco aligned pool in early 2021 has provided evidence to Ian that his milk is still going to Tesco every day. He has been told its down to logistics but it makes a mockery of the system when Tesco kick you off but still take the milk from the farm and put it into the same tanker and silo as the other TSDG farmers milk.
It was back on the 1st February 2016 when Tesco commenced the use of their Balanced Scorecard measuring each farm against various standards. At that time Tesco had a waiting list of producers wanting to join its aligned pool whereas today it has a list wanting to exit Tesco. The bottom 5% each year were issued 6 months notice and catapulted out of their aligned pool.
Logistics looks like a smoke screen for the fact Tesco no longer give notice to the bottom 5% scoring farms because they are short of milk and you have to question how many more former TSDG farmers still have their milk going to Tesco.
