3.8PPL MILK PRICE REDUCTION FOR SUPPLIERS TO BARBERS (CHEESE) – FROM 1ST MARCH

This reduction results in a manufacturing standard litre price of 46.11ppl and based on a liquid standard litre 44.57ppl.

 

For the past six years Barbers over base litres (AKA B litres) have been  paid at AMPE minus 2ppl which for January deliveries calculated to 33.09ppl which is a clear disincentive to produce extra litres with a negative 15.51ppl difference between the core price (48.6ppl) and the over litres price.

 

Last April the difference was very much the opposite with a plus 17.82ppl to total 54.32ppl  on top of the then 36.5ppl core price.  How things have swung in those 9 months.
