We are pleased to share a significant update. Organic Herd has announced an increase in the Member milk price, reflecting the strong demand for their high-quality organic milk and dairy products both within the UK and in key export markets.

Official Announcement:

"Organic Herd boosts Member milk price to 54ppl from August. This increase reflects strong demand for Organic Herd’s organic milk and dairy products from UK customers & consumers and in key export markets. Following on from its 1ppl rise for July, Organic Herd, the leading British farmer-owned cooperative dedicated to organic dairy, has announced a further 3ppl increase in its Member milk price effective from 1st August 2024. The increase will take the Organic Herd price to a competitive 54ppl on a standard litre basis, which represents a c.14ppl premium above current conventional milk prices and is the highest published milk price so far announced for August by a processor or coop in the UK."

This new price adjustment to 54ppl is an acknowledgment of the dedication and hard work of the farmers, whose quality produce meets the rising demand for organic dairy products.
